I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria, advised by Blake Dyer. I leverage statistical modeling and field observations to understand how sediments record the long-term co-evolution of Earth's surface environments, biosphere, and lithosphere. My current research focuses on better understanding the geochemical record of Earth's carbon cycle, with projects spanning from the Proterozoic through the Pleistocene.
Prior to my Ph.D., I earned a Bachelor's in Geosciences (cum laude) from Princeton University in 2021, where I conducted research with Adam Maloof. When I'm not thinking about rocks, I like running, hiking/camping, and snorkelling around Vancouver Island. I also enjoy attempting to capture nature with a camera (for fun and in the field).
